“Not A Typical Italian - All Spark, No Stereotype”

Hi! I’m Alice Lussiana Parente pronounced (A -lee -chè) - I know, the spelling is misleading but I promise you, once you start pronouncing it the Italian way you won’t be able to go back ( true story!)

I was born and raised in Italy and I’m an award - winning actress and voice over talent, raised between the mountains of Piedmont and Turin. I grew up playing with my TEN nonni (ask me about that during callbacks), climbing trees and watching my mom paint frescoes while I tried to “invent a new color”.

I didn’t end up inventing a “new color” but I did add colors to my life with music, art, theatre and dance. I started ballet at the age of eight and playing the piano at ten, but it’s during middle school that I discovered the art form that eventually changed my life: Acting. I started taking acting classes with a company of young actors under the age of 18 and my very first role ended up being Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

I attended the Arts Lyceum where I majored in Sculpture and then graduated in Cinema at the University of Turin with a thesis on child actors. At the age of sixteen, after my very first audition, I had my film debut with British director Peter Greenway in the movie "People the Palace". Then, two years later, I booked the role of Annika in the National Tour of Pippi Longstocking opening at the Teatro Argetina in Rome with Gigi Proietti. As you may imagine, my Nonna’s fear came true and another hustling artist joined the family

In 2014 eager to shake my life again I moved to New York after being accepted at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and offered an assistantship. After graduating, I kept working on stage (Off-broadway/Immersive theatre, National Tours), in several indie movies, commercials, shorts and tv series both in Europe and the US and as the host and jury member of the Oniros Film Awards and NYIFA.

Alongside acting I worked as a voice over talent for the past ten years recording 100+ projects including commercials, audiobooks, e-learnings and animation and I co-produced a new children show: Big Feelings. The show got featured on the NY DAILY NEWS and is returning to the Culture Lab in March 2025.

I currently live in New York but I keep traveling back and forth to Europe for work and eat figs and fresh pasta with my childhood friends and family.
