Hi! I am Alice Lussiana Parente - or, as people say in Italy: A -lee -chè
I am an award-winning actress and voice-over artist. I am fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish. Among my most recent work, I played the leading role in the upcoming feature film Il Newyorkese, A New York Story, set for release in 2027, and voiced in national commercials for brands such as Disney and Shopify. I also starred Off-Broadway at the Flea Theatre and in Netflix’s first theatrical experience, Money Heist.
Beginning
I grew up playing with my TEN nonni (ask me about that during auditions), climbing trees and watching my mom paint frescoes in Italy. I started dancing ballet at eight and playing the piano at ten. Then, at 12, I began performing with Piccolo Teatro D’Arte, a company that staged classical plays adapted for youth actors. I attended an Arts Lyceum, majoring in Sculpture, and later graduated in Cinema from the University of Turin.
Debut
My first audition landed me my film debut with British director Peter Greenaway in People the Palace. Two years later, I was cast as Annika in the National Tour of Pippi Longstocking, which opened at Teatro Argentina in Rome with Italian actor and director legend Gigi Proietti, and toured for two years.
Big Apple Move
I moved to New York in 2014 after being accepted into the Stella Adler Studio of Acting on an assistantship. After graduating, I have continued working across stage and screen - from Off-Broadway and immersive theater to national tours, independent films, commercials, and television series in both Europe and the U.S. I’ve also hosted the Oniros Film Awards and NYIFA.
Awards and More
In 2018, I won Best Up & Coming Actress at the US Hollywood International Film Festival and in 2025 I got nominated for Best Performance in a Play at the BroadwayWorld Off-Broadway Awards. I also co-produced and starred in Big Feelings, a NYFA-funded kids puppet show that was featured in the New York Daily News and had two sold-out runs at Culture Lab LIC.
Over two decades, I recorded more than 100 projects as a voice-over artist, across commercials, audiobooks, e-learning, and animation. I am also a credited actor coach and Commedia dell’Arte educator.
